We already have bonus buys.
How about Buy a Win?
Well, technically we already have this, on bonus with minimum win: FitH 2's 3S seems to pay at least 20x back, and thus we're buying a win of at least 20x, for a price of 70x.?
We all know bonus freq drought is really common: Bonus price 100x freq 1/350? But there's always some unlucky players that took 1000 spins and down 300x by the time they got their well deserved bonus. And it's really common. Usually more than once a week to me, and one of my worst fears.
Same thing can happen on big wins, let's say the classic win 100x+ metric.
So there should be a thing called "Buy-a-win".
Let's put all the big wins into different tiers:
Tier 0 being at least 100x.
Tier 0.5 being 300x.
Tier 1/2/3 being 500x/1000x/2000x.
Note: buying a win from a lower tier always have a chance of getting a win that can belong to a higher tier, so for Tier 0's 100x+, it will include wins from tier 1 or higher.
Let's give a Tier 0 Big Win Buy a price tag of 350x.
You'll get a round that will pay no less than 100x. It can be a base game hit, or a regular bonus, or a super bonus. To do this, the server will simulate spins in the background nonstop until it got a round that's 100x+ and deliver it to you.
The average number in the set of win 100x+ might not be 350x96%. To make it worth 350x, some changes might be needed. Say a game's avg win 100x+ is 370x96%, then we can increase the freq of 100x-150x when buying, and decrease the freq of 500x+, and balance it down to 350x96%.
There'll be discount versions as well. Both price and success rate are discounted.
Say the price of a Tier 1 round is 1500x, the player might choose to pay 500x, a 1/3 of the price with 1/3 of the success rate. And success will means guaranteed money back for the buy. Failure will result in a sad face, just like Loner's God Mode when you fails. Or the player can increase the risk further more and choose to pay 250x, 1/6 of the price and 1/6 success rate. Now every success means at least player's buy-in cost will get doubled in return.
great idea
