Game might be good for its players they like those stuff. But the charm on SQ original was that you could play it, spin it, having fun with it. Getting nice results, getting to know the game and its features and… big surprises. Like I have shared last year in the game comments. Double xways wilds! ??
What I meant was, it did not have to go to this extreme. Maybe-Im just trowing thing out here, maybe an enhaced cell extra rows on top of original and xNudge will be better, without even having increased max win cap. Or having characters behave some way – mechanics wise..? Again. Im just quickly thinking loud here ?? I think original is medium or high volatility and this is as insane.

While we still dont know much about the rest of the math model you’re right; 200k in 1,5m is actually a full 13% RTP which is a significant part. Will be interesting to see where this comes from, but trust the game will be quite brutal most of the time. That said, given the effort (from both ends) put in there’s a chance someone from here hits the max which would be absolutely insane.

See lately it feels like I can slap down 20k x bet as is and still not get anything from NLC games, unless I go back to Serial or before I have not won anything from NLC worthwhile in almost a year. It’s already a massive punt. If I’m going to throw away my money at them, at least with this the potential is very massive!

I did swich to others 90% of a time as well. They just have games made not for everyone. Only for one narrow type of players. With their maxwin buys, gambles max or nothing, huge xBets, simulation action spins… max wins all over the places.. they are in sort of in their own corner of the games. Which is good. Its a very good thing, because that will give more space for other strong providers comes into big spots of iGaming market. Print being one of them, which I think they already overtook them since last year. Slotmill as well as others.
This game.. hmmm… I cannot see it as a good choice to chase or count on a max win. Whatever size it might be. In stats its so frequent, I can imagine to slap in 20k, 30k x bet and not getting 500x bet back, easily. Maybe 20x bet or 50, if you will be lucky 100.. but because its so frequent pre-set, it will have to be dry af ??
Plenty of better choices to go for and have fun with with 50- 100k max wins.

If I am being honest I am actually excited about this. I already feel like most of my NLC sessions will be brutal volatility and basically nothing back, especially on the last year of releases. I’ve basically switched entirely to other providers like Slotmill, Print, Peter & Sons, Lucksome, or Push at this point. Recently I enjoy spinning Elk more than NLC because at least I can get some playtime from them. If their games are gonna be brutal, and this one will definitely be extremely brutal, at least give me a decent chance at max win.

TBH, I was hoping for more of an Original SQ take with something extra, but with something extra to the basegame and to the bonus rounds. Not to do something extra towards those slash/gamble max/nothing game direction of a game.
If I think of 200k 1in1.5mil + hit frequency 26.90% – Probability of 1 in 1.5m for 200k, needs to accumulate somewhere to be in profit, so I see it as a total deadspins gameplay.
