Last May 22, 2010, I had to wake up early despite my lack of sleep the previous night to join the 1st ever Cebu Blog Camp 2010 held at the CAP Building here in Cebu City. Praline of GlitterStop.com and I agreed to meet at the venue but since it was too early, we grabbed a quick breakfast meal at the McDonald’s outlet in front of the building. When we arrived, there were already a couple of people who registered and as we got our turn to register, we got a bag of goodies which includes freebies from Mozilla Firefox and Nokia, among others.
Before the start of the event, we had a game and each group had to dress up 1 member of the team using only 5 sheets of newspaper with the theme of “Blogging Globally” (i think) and our group – “Pink Baboy” won!

The event turned out to be a huge success! From start to finish, there were never ending topics which will truly rouse each individual’s interests.
Xerxes, displaying the event’s live Twitter Feeds and EJ of FocalGlass.com talking about photoblogging
Aileen Apolo about blogging and blogging with Adsense
Janette Toral on Bulding Tribes and her Practical Tips on becoming an Influential Blogger
Tonyo Cruz and his talk
Brad Geisler of Geisler-Maclang and Juned Sunido
Different walks of life joined the event. Old bloggers and newbies met. Familiar faces greeted me in the auditorium and I also got the chance to know a couple of people who share the same interest as we do. There’s a mixture of people from all around the country who came and took part in the Cebu Blog Camp 2010. I’m just glad that I got to be a part of this event and will look forward to the next coming ones. Kudos to the organizers of the Cebu Blog Camp 2010!
You guys rock!

P.S. I heard there’s gonna be a Word Camp that will be held in Manila soon. Scratching my head to see if I can join that one too! 🙂
