About Cebu, Philippines:

One of Philippines’ most popular destinations, the Queen City of the South is the hub of amazing beaches and colourful festivals. Historic Cebu City is famed for Magellan’s Cross, marking the spot where the colonisers started their mission to spread Christianity in the islands. Close to the spot, the massive annual Sinulog festival honours the Santo Niño, a revered image of the child Jesus. Heritage spots such as ancestral houses are aplenty—start with Casa Gorordo—but don’t forget to enjoy the fresh mangoes and seafood. Shopping for great finds is easy, as you can go down Colon Street, Ayala Center and SM City and find whatever you need. Cebuanos are outgoing people, so nightlife and live music are big in Cebu. You can have custom-made guitars and furniture from Mandaue, aside from many export-quality goods such as fashion accessories. Soak up the sun on the islands of Malapascua and Bantayan, with spots like Sugar Beach and Paradise Beach for a good tan and a pleasant beach ball match. If you still dance to the beat of Bob Marley’s “Buffalo Soldier” and “No Woman, No Cry”, then you will definitely love Cebu Reggae Fest, an annual two-day event comprising live reggae performances by artists and enthusiasts. For close encounters with the world’s largest mammal, the whale shark, head to Oslob. From perfect diving spots, and rich wildlife to the friendly people and stunning views, it’s more fun in Cebu! http://www.airasia.com/ph/en/cheap-flights/philippines/flights-to-cebu.page

About Davao City, Philippines:

More than just a centre of trade and commerce for Mindanao, Davao hosts a myriad of tourist attractions to infuse your holiday with excitement and relaxation. Nature lovers can hike their way up to Mount Apo to enjoy the lush scenery from atop the nation’s highest peak or indulge in various activities at Eden Nature Park, while the Island Garden City of Samal offers a chance for sun-seekers to go beach-hopping around the many pristine shores surrounding the resort island. Meet the country’s national bird at the Philippine Eagle Centre, have “dangerous” encounters at Davao Crocodile Park and find Philippine’s national flower, Waling-waling, amongst the many flower species at Puentespina Orchids and Tropical Plants. Whether you are looking for exciting nightlife or a serene getaway, Davao seals the deal when it comes to natural charms and city amenities. http://www.airasia.com/ph/en/cheap-flights/philippines/flights-to-davao.page

About Cagayan de Oro

Cagayan de Oro may very well be the happiest place in the country. The “City of Golden Friendship”,as it is sometimes called, is home to especially friendly and warm Filipinos. Their ready smiles are a fitting welcome, with Cagayan de Oro accessible location also making it the Gateway to Northern Mindanao. Cagayan de Oro’s much talked-about whitewater rafting and river trekking make it the premier whitewater destination in the country. The Cagayan de Oro River is famed for challenging rapids that quickly follow one after the other. It’s really an experience like no other and well worth the initial scare. They say the wild river helps you discover your inner strength and endurance.
