Together We Will Stand

There was a photo contest at work which requires one to submit pictures of any standing, living or non-living thing. The theme was “Together We Will Stand”.

Eds already have a lot of stored pictures and he thought that his Gummy Bear photos would be an excellent entry. Since the picture of the gummy bears he selected were not of top quality when printed, I insisted that Eds take another picture, this time using his new NikonD80 cam.

We had a tough time finding the gummy bears he originally used since they were out of stocks. We settled for the smaller version of the gummy bears instead. I visualized the gummy bears lining up with the globe as its background. Together with Audrey, we took the picture at SM Cebu and this was the shot we agreed to submit for the photo contest.

We really had a great time with our photo shoot! It was so hard making all those small gummy bears stand. There were even 2 Japanese nationals who approached us and also took pictures of the gummy bears. They also gave us gummy candies!

We really liked how the picture turned out. We didn’t realize that the  tiles where the gummies  stood would reflect the gummy bear’s shadows.

And the best thing is he won the contest!!! First Prize! Wohoo! Congratulations and Great job Eds! Keep it coming!
