*sigh* yep! That’s right. I haven’t found the time to fix my desktop and I am using a borrowed laptop. Since the owner of the laptop has so much stuff to do, I can’t impose on using it, not unless it’s not being used. Right now, I am all set to buying one but I don’t have the budget yet. Actually, I still have a long way to go. My budget is somewhere around $650 and my Paypal account still shows $54. Toinks! I am trying my best not to spend my money in Paypal as I want to use the funds there to buy the laptop. I just hope I don’t get tempted into spending that amount.

Right now, all I can do is lament and think what laptop brand I should buy in case I need to buy one na. haaay…where did all the money go? tsk tsk tsk.

Early this morning, while discussing with Ed about our online jobs and the thought of acquiring domain names, I mentioned to him that my site has turned a year so he asked me how much I have earned so far. I never really kept track of my earnings so I got curious too. I pulled up PayPal and generated some reports to check my earnings.

Indeed it has been a year since I created this site and the primary reason why I created this website was to earn money online. And I was able to achieve it. I’d like to show you my cash flow after a year from opening this site.

The money I earned helped a lot in paying up bills. Creating this site also paved way for more travel adventures, meeting new friends and the chance to win contests.

It wasn’t really difficult earning all those money. With dedication and determination, you too can achieve what I have achieved. But with those paid opportunities, I lost my Page Rank. At the same time, with a few mistakes in accepting different varieties of Ads, I lost Google Adsense. However, I am planning to get Google Adsense back after I do a major overhaul on this site. As to when that will happen, I don’t know. As for now, what I’m dying to do is change the theme of my site again to something more user friendly because there are broken codes in there somewhere which I can’t fix. A good example is the Gravatar logo in my comments box. Although I really love my header, I’ll just have to find some decent themes for the site when I have the time.

As for blogging, I came to love what I’m doing here on top of the the money I earned. So I will still continue to blog the stuff that I love to talk about, travels, food and such. Just stick around for more updates.

Withdrew my remaining stash from Paypal the other day since its time to pay again some bills. This is the last batch of money I earned when my site still hold a Page Rank 3. I already cashed out $227 last August 5th to pay off more bills. I’m really sad that with my PR gone I won’t have opportunities online as much as I used to. I also have to blame myself a bit for losing my page rank. Got busy with work and all…Oh well, I can’t cry over spilled milk. I’ll just have to figure out how to earn more mulah online.

P.S. BDO charges Php200 for the transaction fee while BPI only charges Php150. The 1st few cashouts I made, I was charged P200 and when Ed told me that BPI only charges P150, I switched. From now on, I’ll be using my BPI account for withdrawals (if ever there’s any ). Unless you guys know a different bank which charges less fees, please do let me know. Thanks in advance!

yesterday. I was waiting for it to reach $250 but since I didn’t see signs that I will get some of my blogging money due for August 1st and 2nd, I decided to withdraw my money in Paypal since I badly need to pay off some bills.

The bad thing is that when I checked my email today, there I saw my pending payments sent to Paypal. It was only $14.50 but that would have been enough to make it reach $250 once I combine my other $26.++ (from a different source).

I was supposed to put off the withdrawal till I get confirmation that I will get the $14.50 but after hearing Audrey‘s story that her Paypal account had fraudulent transactions after she attempted to withdraw her money and cancelled the transaction, I immediately withdraw the amount (for security reasons too). Her account is still inactive as of this point. tsk tsk tsk

I’ll just have to wait for the money to get wired to my bank account before I can get hold of the actual money.
