I scream Ice Cream!

With the heat of the summer, I won’t be surprised if I can eat a dozen of Selecta’s Cookies and Cream!
I was already eating ice cream for breakfast after getting off work last Saturday morning. And I realized that I liked Cookies and Cream better than the Super Chocolate flavor.

Space Pen

While scanning through TV channels, I got hooked at Discovery Channel’s feature on how carpets are made and even recycled. After the episode, they featured another topic and this time it was about the Fisher Space Pen.

What’s interesting about the Fisher Space Pen is that it can write in zero gravity, upside down, underwater, over wet and greasy paper, at any angle, and in extreme temperature ranges. And the program demonstrated that indeed the space pen really works upside down and even underwater!
Way back when astronauts where being sent to outer space, they discovered that a normal pen won’t work because of the lack of gravity. And Paul Fisher was just in time for his invention.

While finding an image of the pen online, I stumbled upon a blog that shows that even after 10 years, the Fisher Space Pen still works. What’s special about this pen is that the ink cartridge was pressurized with nitrogen so that it didn’t rely on gravity to make it work. The ball point is also made of a special material normally used in making bullets, making it very sturdy. I would love to get one of these pens if given the chance!
"Bring The Rain"

by Mercy Me
I can count a million times
People asking me how I
Can praise You with all that I’ve gone through
The question just amazes me
Can circumstances possibly
Change who I forever am in You
Maybe since my life was changed
Long before these rainy days
It’s never really ever crossed my mind
To turn my back on you, oh Lord
My only shelter from the storm
But instead I draw closer through these times
So I pray
Bring me joy, bring me peace
Bring the chance to be free
Bring me anything that brings You glory
And I know there’ll be days
When this life brings me pain
But if that’s what it takes to praise You
Jesus, bring the rain
I am Yours regardless of
The dark clouds that may loom above
Because You are much greater than my pain
You who made a way for me
By suffering Your destiny
So tell me what’s a little rain
So I pray
Holy, holy, holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
On Angels & Demons

Just finished watching Angels & Demons with Pia earlier. The original plan was to watch it in Ayala. However, there were no longer available seats for the time slot we chose and we didn’t like to watch the last full show. I should have booked the seats online if knew that it would be like this. We watched the movie at SM instead.

Angels & Demons is the sequel to Dan Brown’s film adaptation of The Da Vinci Code which was show in 2006. Wait. 2006? Wow! Was it really shown on that year?
I’m actually typing this entry in a small Notepad window and my background is the write-up of the movie in Wikipedia.
I never realized that 3 years had passed since that movie. Honestly, I never knew that the movie Angels & Demons existed not until I saw an advertisement of it on a site I visited a month ago. I really liked the movie The Da Vinci Code and this pretty much explains why I couldn’t resist watching the sequel too. This movie didn’t disappoint me and I am inviting everyone who haven’t watched the movie to check it out.
Sleepless

I’m off to the movie theater today to watch Angels and Demons. I just hate the fact that after having sleepless nights days for 7 days straight, I still woke up early today. I was aiming to wake up at around 3pm to be in time for the movies at 530pm but guess what? I woke up early. Maybe it’s due to the fact that I have only been sleeping for 3 hours every day. I hate it! I hope I can sleep normally again. Hopefully tomorrow.
