Fiesta Time

Posted on 08 May 2009 | 262 views

Every 8th of May, Mandaue City celebrates its yearly fiesta in honor of its patron saint, Saint Joseph. It so happens that I live in the city proper of Mandaue. There were times where we don’t really prepare anything. This year, my parents decided to prepare a few dishes for their friends. And no feast is complete here in Cebu without lechon.

lechon

Without lechon, any feast is incomplete. And Cebu is famous for its “lechon”. The skin of this one is sooo crunchy! The insides are yummy too! :-D

Stuffed Squid

Here’s one of my favorite dishes that my mom cooks and I’m glad we served this food today. This is squid with stuffed ground pork. This is soo yummy! And I just can’t get enough of this one :-)
