Boyz II Men Concert

Posted on 02 August 2009 | 403 views

Had the privilege of watching this concert, courtesy of my brother-in-law. I received a text message from him asking me if I was interested in watching the concert since he can’t attend it. At first, I was hesitant since I am not really a big fan of the group but when I learned that the tickets were Platinum, I gave in

I asked Audrey if she is a fan of the group. She immediately said yes and told her of the tickets. She have a lot of stuff to do on that day so Ed ended up watching the concert with me. Although I was sick at that time, I managed to attend the event and there were a couple of prominent figures in society present in Waterfront Hotel too.

Bloopers: It was the first time that I attended a concert with Platinum tickets so after giving our tickets to the lady behind the counter, she gave it to someone else, probably to have it validated. Then afterwards, she grabbed my hand and stamped something at the back of my palm. We thought that they ran out of ink or something since it didn’t show any stamp so we asked them that there’s nothing there. They said that it was invisible and then they led me to an ultraviolet light (i think) on the next table and the stamp was revealed. bwahahaha I wanted to shrink at that point. bwahahaha

The concert ended after one hour and 30 minutes and I think the program was too short. Some of the songs they performed were not familiar to me. However, I am not at all disappointed with how the concert went. I was really hesitant at first since some foreign groups perform concerts here and we end up listening to songs we don’t even recognize since they try to promote their new singles. With the concert of Boyz II Men, they sang the songs that became popular hits in our country. These songs includes Water Runs Dry, A Song for Mama, Four Seasons of Loneliness, End of The Road, I’ll Make Love to You and On Bended Knees
