Amélie is a French romantic comedy film which depicts the contemporary Parisian life, set in Montmartre. It tells the story of a waitress who decides to change the lives of those around her in the hopes of making herself reform into a normal person once she fixes their lives. However, she struggles with her own isolation in the advent of helping others. The cast includes Audrey Tautou of The Da Vinci Code.
Amélie won Best Film at the European Film Awards. The film also won 4 César Awards including Best Film and Best Director, 2 BAFTA Awards including Best Original Screenplay and was nominated for 5 Academy Awards. Amelie is considered as one of the best known French films of all time.
If you’ll download this in torrent, make sure you find the link with the English Subtitle as this is a French movie. The movie is weird in its own way and I like it just the same. Just let me know what you think once you’ve seen it (if ever you plan to)
